my husband wants to take me to disneyworld in october the place we honeymooned 30 years ago--getting confused after reading bad reviews of the hotels even though the pictures are beautiful--any suggestions--limited budget of 1200.00-thanks

    Hi Rosanne!

That sounds like a great way to celebrate!  My favorite Disney Value Resort is Pop Century.  I think it has the best bus service on property and the best food court of any Walt Disney World Resort.  My favorite Disney Moderate Resort is Port Orleans Riverside.  I like the theming of the resort, especially the alligator Bayou Section of the resort.  I also love the great pool at the resort and the fact that there are carriage rides; the boat service to Downtown Disney is also very nice and relaxing, especially at night.  That said, most panelists would probably recommend Port Orleans French Quarter over Riverside, especially from a romantic viewpoint.

You might also consider staying at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin or in the various Downtown Disney hotels.  They offer various discounts from time to time that might offer a way to save money.  The Swan and Dolphin usually offer discounts to nurses and teachers.  By the way, my favorite Downtown Disney resort is the DoubleTree and the Hilton.

Good luck and write back if you have any more questions!
