My husband wants to take our 3yr old to Disney. He thinks at the age he is right now he will LOVE it. Problem is,we also have a 1yr old. Is there anything for her to do or is it going to be a parent swapping trip. I think we should wait, he doesn't.

    Hi there Amanda!

Well, I'm going to have to side with your husband.

We've traveled with little, little ones on many a trip (our 2nd son was just 7 weeks old on his first trip!).  There are only a handful of attractions in Magic Kingdom (for example) that have height requirements/restrictions, and you'll find that the same holds true for the other parks.  All other rides your daughter will be able to easily ride along in the lap of an adult.  There is so much to see and do for the entire family at Walt Disney World.  That is what sets Walt Disney World apart from other vacation destinations--the fact that it is a place where the FAMILY can do things together...as a FAMILY. That was Walt's plan when he started planning Disneyland, and those details were carried over when they broke ground in Florida.

In my opinion, the awe, energy and excitement of a 3 year old at Walt Disney World can't be beat!  It's an amazingly exciting time to take a child.  I think you'll find that your daughter will enjoy it as well!

    Have a magical trip,
    Amanda
