Me and my husband are wanting to take a trip to Disney world soon and we saw something about a deal for first responders and wanted more information on that. We are both paramedics and in much need of a vacation and a honeymoon! We just got married in Jan!

I have to pass along a heartfelt congratulations on your recent marriage, Rebecca! I'm so glad you are considering celebrating the occasion at Walt Disney World. Did you know that this year marks a very special one for the Most Magical Place on Earth, too?

When it comes to current promotion that help Guests save money, the best place to look is the special offers page. Frequently, you'll be able to find discounts for theme park admission or a resort stay. These specials can help Guests save hundreds of dollars on a vacation. I'm not seeing anything on offer right now for paramedics, but I do know of another option.

Are you familiar with the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel or the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel? Both of these resorts provide deluxe accommodations and convenient access to Disney theme parks. The even better news is that eligible Guests (nurses, doctors, firefighters, paramedics and medical personnel) can ask for the "Nurses Rate" to receive a special rate in appreciation for all you do. Keep in mind that proof of eligibility will be required at check-in.

You don't mention when you plan to vacation, Rebecca. If you're hoping to travel soon, it's important to familiarize yourself with the current health and safety measures in place at the Walt Disney World Resort. Definitely keep these updates in mind as you plan your trip, and don't forget that you'll need both theme park admission and a theme park reservation to visit.

I hope that helps, Rebecca. I'm wishing you and your husband an absolutely unforgettable trip!
