My husband and I are going to Walt Disney World for our anniversary and will take a day off between visiting parks. We'd like to explore Disney Springs a bit more - what is there we should do and what are recommended restaurants for adults only :)

Hi Rachael! Welcome to the Disney Park Moms Panel!

Congratulations on your anniversary! A Walt Disney World Resort vacation sounds like a perfect plan to celebrate your very own Happily Ever After!

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at the Walt Disney World Resort and enjoyed many delicious afternoons at Disney Springs together. Among a lot of great restaurant options, we loved The BOATHOUSE -the Maine Lobster Bisque is so delicious that we often had it as a main dish! The new Wine Bar George is also a great option for couples, with its intimate atmosphere and small offerings to share.

To me, Disney Springs is all about serendipity, so my best advice is to take a walk and discover it at your own pace. There is one experience, though, that is worth planning for: the Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire - By ILMXLab and the VOID at Disney Springs. It is so immersive that it is indeed indescribable, but let me simply say that it combines state-of-the-art virtual-reality technology, physical stages and multi-sensory effects. How does that sound for a surprising Disney Springs date night?

I hope you enjoy these tips and that you remember us as you think of new questions - we will always be here to help you celebrate!

May the magic be with you and your husband,

    Julie
