Hi there, My husband has a visual disability (less than 7% range, no night vision). Will the parks/resort recognize his Ontario disability parking permit? Can he access DAS for rides with darker lines? Thanks

Hi Lisa!  Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

As the mom of a child on the autism spectrum and someone who has traveled with guests who have mobility needs, I can assure you from first-hand experience that the Walt Disney World Resort's Disability Services Cast Members go out of their way to ensure that all guests have a magical experience.

I am happy to tell you that your Ontario disability parking permit will be honored for parking at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and theme parks.  Once you arrive at one of the Walt Disney World theme parks, you and your travel party will want to visit Guest Relations to speak to a Cast Member.  They will be able to help determine if Disability Access Service is right for your husband.  In addition to Disability Access Service, Walt Disney World Resort also provides additional services for guests with visual disabilities such as handheld audio description devices and braille guidebooks.

I have no doubt that you will be able to find the right accommodations to make your husband's Walt Disney World Resort visit practically perfect in every way.  Have a magical day!
