My husband and I will be visiting WDW soon. We are DVC members and will be purchasing the basic DDP. We are meeting friends for dinner one night. May we pay for their meals using our DDP?

    Howdy Barbara!

This is a great question and I love that you will be sharing the magic of your vacation with your friends.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to use your Dining Plan entitlements to pay for their meals.  The Disney Dining Plan only pertains to the guests listed under your Hotel Reservation.  It cannot be used by guests who are not in your travel party.

If you would like, you may pay for their meals with cash or credit cards.

I hope you and your friends have a great night together and I hope you have a fantastic vacation.

Thanks so much for your question and please let me know if you need any further information as you put the final touches on your vacation.  Have a magical day!
