Hey, there! Hi, there! Ho, there!
You're as welcome as can be at planDisney, Marcy. I am so glad you stopped by with another great question about your upcoming visit!
As so many of us Mouseketeers begin to
return to the magic, there are some new rules for the clubhouse. When I visited with my family in July, we saw firsthand the health and safety measures put in place to keep both Guests and Cast Members safe. Physical distancing was just one of the efforts that you could clearly see across the parks and resort hotels.
Throughout your stay, you will see signs marking the appropriate distance between you and the Guests around you in lines for both attractions and food service. In my experience, everyone was able to easily follow these distance guidelines and Cast Members were quick to kindly guide people to their proper place using the markings on the ground.
With park capacity limited, my family found if we felt it became "crowded" and we didn't have our space, we were able to move to another part of the park and easily space out more. We also took advantage of
mobile food ordering using the My Disney Experience app to avoid having to wait around for our quick service meals and snacks. Not only did this help a lot with social distancing, but also gave us more time to enjoy the park as we could order our food while in line for an attraction and then walk right up to pick up our order when it was ready!
At this time,
FastPass+ service is not being offered as part of the phased reopening. Mickey Mouse hasn't announced when this Mouseketool will return, but keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for the most current updates and changes to what is being offered before your visit. I really enjoyed the spontaneity of each day during our vacation in July without making FastPass reservations. It was a different way to experience the magic!
Now it's time to say goodbye to you, my friend, Marcy. I hope you'll come along and visit planDisney again if you have any additional questions before your vacation!
See ya real soon! Angie
