    Hello! My husband and I are visiting WDW in mid-December and we were hoping to sign up for the Wild Africa trek tour. Is the tour available during December?

    Hi Lorin,

    I love, love, love the Wild Africa Trek at Animal Kingdom. It may be my favorite of all the special behind-the-scenes tours at Walt Disney World. Besides  getting up close and personal with many of the animals, you also get to enjoy a delicious meal overlooking the savanna. On the day I did the tour, we were able to watch giraffes play nearby throughout our meal. The guides are first-rate as well and helped make the trek a truly amazing experience.

    The Wild Africa Trek normally is offered year-round. This tour cannot be booked online. So even though the schedule for December is not yet showing on the Walt Disney World website, I suggest you call the tour line at (407) WDW-TOUR (939-8687) to see if you can make your reservations now.
