My husband and I will be visiting in October. We are in our late 50s and early 60s. Is the Halloween party worth the extra cost for us? We are annual passholders.

    Hello Caryl!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Admittedly, I am a bit biased, because Halloween is my favorite holiday, and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ranks #1 on my list of special events at Walt Disney World Resort. Here are 6 reasons I love it so much as an adult!

    Unlimited trick-or-treating. I can't help it, I love candy.

Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Show - Fireworks to creepy classic songs and Oogie Boogie? Enough said.

Special Halloween treats served only during the party.

Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade - The best parade ever!! With appearances from the Headless Horseman, Haunted Mansion Dancers, and Disney Villains, it's special.

Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular - If you're a big fan of the film, you'll love this show! It's funny, wacky, and the Sanderson Sisters will cast a spell on you.

Special Meet and Greets with rare characters like Jack Skellington and Sally, Moana, and Seven Dwarfs.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the most spooktacular party around. There is plenty to do even as an Annual Passholder. If any of these things interest you, then I highly recommend it. If you can be flexible with your dates, then I would choose a party time mid-week when you can use your Annual Passholder discount and try it out. It's a party I attend every year, even without my children.
