Hi Jessica,
Welcome to planDisney!
Wow! Arrival is tomorrow! Well, first things first, if you ride other attractions, there would be plenty for you to do in either theme park. Each park is unique so which ones you visit really depends on what you want to experience. My girls love Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park because they adore the animals. We have done a few
Enchanting Extras Collection tours here including
Caring for Giants and
Up Close with Rhinos. We also enjoy taking the train to
Conservation Station and doing the
Animation Experience.
At EPCOT, we love Soarin' Around the World and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. The dining experiences at EPCOT are also spectacular. We love grabbing the
fish and chips at
Rose & Crown Dining Room and also enjoy watching the sea life while dining at
Coral Reef Restaurant. It's lovely to walk around World Showcase at EPCOT and be sure to check out the festival activities during the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival Presented by CORKCICLE. At night, I highly recommend finding a spot to view Luminous The Symphony of Us fireworks show.
Of course, I also have to say that there is plenty to do at Magic Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios that does not involve roller coasters. Check out the
Attractions List for Magic Kingdom and the
Attractions List for Hollywood Studios. My family remains faithful to the Resistance so we always visit our allies on
Batuu. Build a lightsaber at Savi's Workshop or a droid at Droid Depot. If you are unable to make a reservation for Savi's Workshop or Droid Depot, stop by during your visit. There may be limited availability on-site.
Jessica, finally, with allergies, I always check the menus of dining locations we plan to visit. Just go to the restaurant's home page online and click on View Menu. Scroll to see if allergy information is included. Here is the
list of quick-service restaurants at EPCOT. With quick-service locations, I often just speak with a cast member on-site. They have always been able to confirm what we can eat at the restaurant and, at table-service restaurants, the chef has been able to offer items not on the menu to accommodate our allergies. If you have not purchased
tickets, do so immediately! Check your park admission type to make sure you do not need a theme park reservation and, if you do, make one. In the spirit of Princess Tiana, I am sending a wish to the Evening Star trusting that you will get those plans finalized!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
