    Hi! My husband and I are visiting DisneyWorld in October. I am very excited and want to get lots of pictures taken :) I am curious about the difference in purchasing Memory Maker and not (only using PhotoPass). Does using PhotoPass alone allow downloads?

    How exciting to hear you and the hubby will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort this October! I also adore taking tons of vacation photos and have become quite familiar with both Disney's PhotoPass Service and Memory Maker and would love to share my experience with you.

    Disney's PhotoPass Service consists of the photographers and attractions that capture your magical moments for you. You can stop and take as many photos as you'd like and later view them through your My Disney Experience account. Those pictures are then available to be purchased for download or in print. When you buy Memory Maker, you receive unlimited digital downloads no matter how many photos you take. Thus, I really feel it is the best way to get the most out of Disney's PhotoPass Service. Prior to Memory Maker I would spend so much time trying to pick and choose just which photos I wanted to purchase, now we can keep every special memory. 

    I'll never forget the first time I had purchased Memory Maker a little hesitant of whether or not it was fully worth the cost. The PhotoPass photographer at meet Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater captured one of the most treasured photos of that vacation while I wasn't even looking. We were waiting in line to meet Mickey and as I turned to make sure our whole party was ready to greet the Main Mouse, Mickey sneaked up behind me and my son gave the absolutely best reaction to seeing his favorite pal. I would have missed the whole moment, but the PhotoPass photographer didn't and we now have the memory to cherish forever. I think you'll be happy you spent the extra money, too!
