My Husband and & I will be visiting Disney World the end of October. We want to go the Hollywood studios, the Animal Kingdom, and possibly Epcot Center. Which would be best? Just getting 3 day passes or park hopper tickets? What about food plans?

Hey there, Cindy, and welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! It’s great to see that you are planning to spend some time in one of my favorite places, Walt Disney World! Nailing down your Theme Park Ticket strategy can be a little tricky! So I’d be more than happy to help guide you in the best direction.

Cindy, the short answer here is: it depends! My family enjoys the slower approach of visiting a single Theme Park each day. I should also caveat that point by noting that we usually have multiple toddlers in tow. Since you mentioned food - also one of my favorite things - I suggest taking your dining plans into consideration when making your plans. If you and your husband are big foodies, I would probably suggest that you go for the park hopper tickets. With your park hopper tickets, you could eat breakfast, (late) lunch, and dinner in a different Theme Park each day. Your visit is also during EPCOT’s International Food and Wine Festival, and you could spend each evening eating and drinking “around the world” at the various booth locations within the park. Honestly, I’d probably recommend the park hopper tickets for your vacation because it’s always nice to have options.

However, if you prefer the slower approach to vacation, I suggest getting the one Theme Park per day tickets. Planning to spend an entire day in the Theme Park allows you to slow down and really take in the park’s culture. You also won’t feel any pressure when you head. back to the resort for a mid-day nap! You’ll be confident knowing that you can return to the same park and pick up right where you left off. Since you asked about food plans, I’m going to share one recommendation from each of the parks you mentioned: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park - definitely Yak & Yeti Restaurant, EPCOT - Les HallesBoulangerie & Patisserie (but honestly there are a lot of great eats in EPCOT), and Disney’s Hollywood Studios - Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo

I hope this helps, Cindy! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know
