Yeah! Your first trip to Walt Disney World! Your children will be so enraptured by the magic at their age.
Your interests and wishes should always guide your itinerary so Star Wars Weekend is an out of this world way to start your visit. Take your little Padawans to see the parade and Hyperspace Hoopla! You will encounter crowds but the people add to the atmosphere and excitement. Some will be dressed in quite elaborate costumes.
Another consideration when planning your touring plan is meal reservations. If you are dining with Winnie the Pooh at the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom on June 2nd then visit this classic theme park on that day. If you want to experience a character meal you need to make reservations in advance. Call (407) 939-3463 or click on
Dining Reservations to book your table.
Are you staying at a Walt Disney World Resort? Then take advantage of Extra Magic Hours, additional times the parks are open for resort guests only when planning your itinerary. On June 4 Disney's Animal Kingdom has Extra Magic Hours in the morning and the Magic Kingdom has early morning EMH on June 7.
With preschoolers plan to arrive at the parks early so you can get in a few attractions before the crowds arrive. After lunch head back to the hotel for naps and some pool time. Then hit the parks again as the temperature cools down.
I want your first visit to Walt Disney World to be so awesome and amazing! Please ask additional questions because planning can be overwhelming. Wishing you a magical vacation!
