My husband and I will be visiting in April with our 18 month old girl. We are going to try to visit all of the parks. We have purchased the dining plan and I'm wondering what table-service restaurants you recommend that are suitable for toddlers.

    Hi Christie!

I'll be at Disney in April too! I hope you guys are as excited as we are!  You'll be happy to know that just about every Disney table-service restaurant is extremely "kid-friendly".  There are booster chairs and high chairs readily available, as well as great children's menus that include "toddler favorites" and many creative options as well.  The desserts are really fun, and many come with Mickey sprinkles or other treats sure to delight your little princess!  Even the fine dining establishments welcome children of all ages, and you should feel comfortable bringing your daughter...this IS Disney after all :-)

As for suggestions, if your little princess-in-training is a princess fan, then the character meals at 1900 Park Fare and Akershus at Norway should make her trip!  If she likes Winnie the Pooh and his pals, I'd recommend Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom, and if Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald are her favorites, Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary is a wonderful way to start (breakfast) or end (dinner) a perfect Disney Day!

If you'd like some non-character suggestions, I think Coral Reef at Epcot is a wonderful dining experience (the restaurant overlooks a massive tank filled with amazing sea life).  The food is excellent, and kids tend to love watching the "fishies"!  Other great choices are Spoodles on the Boardwalk, Mama Melrose at Hollywood Studios and Tuto Italia at Epcot.  These are some of my kids favorites.

You can make advanced dining reservations by calling 407-WDW-DINE up to 90 days in advance of your stay.  Have a wonderful time!
