Greetings, Terri, and welcome to planDisney.
We are so pleased to meet you and so very excited to hear that you are beginning to plan for a Walt Disney World vacation. My favorite spot to begin planning is on the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page. Even with being a military family ourselves, sometimes we find these savings to be a better deal for our family. It really just all depends on what we are looking to do and enjoy each trip. So definitely start there!
Walt Disney World does a great job of honoring eligible service members with savings on
theme park tickets and
resort stays. (Hang tight, offers for 2026 haven't been announced yet.) If your husband is a retiree, then he qualifies to use these offers. I recommend reading through the important details of these offers to see if he is eligible. If not, head over to those deals I previously mentioned; trust me, those savings will surprise you.
I also recommend checking out the different resorts included in the
Disney Resorts Collection. You’ll want to plan your visit with a stay at a Disney Resort. Nothing compares to living in the magic throughout your stay. And when I say living, I’m referring to a resort stay. Waking up and falling asleep in the middle of the magic is what completes a Disney trip. It’s also what makes leaving so hard!
Just talking about all the options that come with a
Disney Vacation has me itching to book a quick visit this month. My next trip isn’t until November, but I am so ready! So if you need any other help or tips when planning yours, I’m more than
happy to help! I hope this has been helpful, Terri.
Happy Planning and thank you, from my military family to yours.
