My husband is a veteran (not retired but did serve with honorable discharge & dd214) he is also a current department of defense employee which means we have access to purchasing tickets on base but will they allow us to USE them if he is not active dut

Hello, Amber!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

Eligible Service men and women must either be active or retired members and have a valid military identification card.  I spoke with a Cast Member concerning your situation and she did inform me that your husband would not be able to participate due to his non-active status.   She was very familiar with this policy as she was in this same situation sometime ago.

Thank you so much for visiting the Moms Panel.  Please join us again real soon with any new questions or concerns.  We would love to lend a hand with your Walt Disney World planning.

~Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON!"~
