Hi Lauren,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Although I do not have vertigo, I do experience motion sickness. I will provide some advice based on my experiences in the parks and, as always, strongly encourage your husband to consult with his doctor if he has not done so already. First, review each park's attractions list -
Magic Kingdom,
Epcot,
Disney's Animal Kingdom and
Disney's Hollywood Studios. Here are the attractions I would avoid:
- Magic Kingdom - Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Mad Tea Party, and perhaps Astro Orbiter, Dumbo the Flying Elephant and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
- Epcot - Soarin' Around the World, Mission: SPACE Orange Mission, and perhaps Test Track
- Disney's Animal Kingdom - Avatar Flight of Passage, Primeval Whirl and perhaps Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain and TriceraTop Spin
- Disney's Hollywood Studios - Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and perhaps Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ and Alien Swirling Saucers
Of course, any number of experiences could trigger your husband's motion sickness - it is hard to predict. Several simulations could pose a problem, so be cautious with those (for example, Star Tours - The Adventures Continue).
Lauren, I also suggest that you review the information on
Services for Guests with Disabilities and contact a cast member if you have specific questions!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
