    Hello, My husband and I are vacationing the weekend of the different run events in Nov. I was thinking of participating in the 5k. If my husband wants to come and cheer me on is there a fee? Also if I go by myself how do I get to the race, by car or bus?

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Wine and Dine Half Marathon is my favorite runDisney race weekend.  I think you will love Mickey's Holiday 5K!

    There is no fee for spectators to come cheer on the runners. The supportive fans are always the greatest part of the race.  There will be spectator viewing information provided in the Official Event Guide that comes out about two weeks prior to the race weekend.  For the 5K, most spectators will be at the finish line.

    For transportation, I highly recommend staying at one of the Walt Disney World Resorts.  There will be complimentary bus transportation to and from all race weekend events.  This transportation is for runners and spectators.  

    If you are staying off property, you can have someone bring you to the 5K or take a taxi.  There will be heavy traffic on race morning, so be sure to leave in plenty of time.
