My husband and I usually come to WDW in September or October. In 2012, we were thinking about coming in November. I know what WDW starts putting Christmas decorations up in November, but when in November? Are they up the first week at MK and Epcot?

    Hi Erin:

Although subject to change every year, Disney typically starts putting up Christmas decorations around and during the second week of November, sometimes even earlier.  But in my experience, I normally start to see decorations during the second week in November, although I've seen reports here and there of some decorations going up during the first week in November.  By Thanksgiving, expect to see the parks fully decorated for the Holidays. In true Disney fashion, the decorations are set up at night, as if by magic. Starting in November, you may start to notice more and more Christmas and Holiday decorations where you did not see them the day before.

This year, I understand that most of the Resorts will begin to put up their Holiday decorations starting mid-November, with the breathtaking life-sized gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa set to start construction a bit earlier, around November 7th and set to be open for business a week later.

    Enjoy your vacation.
