My husband usually takes my daughter back to the resort to take a nap during the day while the rest of us stay at the park. Will this be possible the week before Christmas? Will he be albe to get back in the park if they close it because of max occupancy?

    Hi Charity,

That's a very savvy question you ask.  Your husband and daughter do run the risk of encountering a closed Magic Kingdom if it reaches capacity while they are back at the resort napping.  This doesn't happen very often but the weeks surrounding Christmas are the times it is most likely to occur.  How old is your daughter?  Is she still young enough to nap in her stroller?  That's what we did with my son when he was five.  He would doze off as we strolled around the park so we would just find a nice shady spot to relax while he napped in his stroller.  The other option, of course, is to gather your travel party and head to one of the other Disney theme parks if the Magic Kingdom reaches capacity.  I hope this gives you some helpful options to consider.

Wishing you a magical visit at Christmas time!  The Disney parks and resorts are so beautiful in December.
