    My husband usually rents an ECV for the week. However, on our next visit we will not be staying on property. Will the ECV rental places hold a wheelchair (his personal wheelchair) for him so that he can rent a ECV for the day?

     Welcome back to planDisney, Kimberly. We're delighted to see you again! And, of course, we're so happy to hear you're planning another visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Let's chat!

     Exploring the theme parks requires a LOT of walking, so renting an Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) is a fabulous idea if you have mobility concerns. Fortunately, you can rent an ECV from all four theme parks and Disney Springs! To answer your questions, yes, you can request that your wheelchair be held at an ECV rental location. A friendly Cast Member will attach an identification tag to it and you can pick it up when you return your rental at the end of the day.

     I'm not sure where you plan on staying for your next visit, but I want to mention that ScooterBug, Disney's Featured Provider for stroller, ECV, and wheelchair rentals does deliver to other area hotels. I encourage you to visit their website to see if where you plan on staying is listed as one of their drop off and pickup locations!
