Bonjour!
Welcome to planDisney, Hayley, and thank you for bringing your question to us today. It sounds like you’re planning a magical trip to
Disneyland Paris, not too long now, how exciting! I have been to all the Disney Parks in the world, and in my opinion, Disneyland Park in Paris is the most beautiful of them all.
Hayley, I’ve spoken with a helpful Cast Member at Disneyland Paris named Will, who confirmed some important details about
military discounts. To qualify, you’ll need government-issued proof of status. Discounts are available for active military personnel as well as those who have retired from a military career and are in receipt of a military pension. Unfortunately, those who have returned to civilian life without a pension are not eligible for the discount.
The good news is that a payslip showing evidence of a military pension being paid is also accepted as proof. You can book tickets for yourself and up to four other people, which sounds perfect for you both, and your three children!
Overall, I would recommend arming yourself with as much identification as possible, including your original military ID card if you still have it. This will help ensure a seamless entry into the Disney Parks.
P.S. Walt Disney Studios Park is currently undergoing a major expansion and will eventually be renamed Disney Adventure World. For a sneak peek at the progress, hop on
Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop in Worlds of Pixar for a brilliant bird’s-eye view!
Hayley, I hope this has answered your question, and I hope you have the best holiday at Disneyland Paris. If you have any more questions please
reach out to me directly, I would love to help!
Have a magical day,
Matt
