Howdy, Nicola!
Welcome to planDisney! Your question caught my attention because I’ve visited the Disneyland Resort several times during the hot summer months with family members who relied on insulin. I want to reassure you that you can totally enjoy the parks and be comfortable at the same time!
Firstly, I wanted to let you know that the
First Aid centers at both theme parks are available to store medications that need to be refrigerated. It's one of those super handy things about the resort that I don't often find at other fun places.
Now, let's chat about the
Disability Access Service (DAS) – it's truly a game-changer if you're looking for extra support while waiting in lines. With DAS, those lengthy queues become a thing of the past. No need for a doctor's note – simply request a
live video chat to pre-register between 2 and 30 days before your visit.
If you'd rather call Disability Services directly, their phone number is (407) 560-2547, or you can email them at
disability.services@disneyland.com. Think of them as your very own fairy godmothers – always there to lend a hand.
So Rosie, with these tips in mind, you’re ready to have a magical time at the Happiest Place On Earth with your Prince Charming! Keep those questions coming! I’d love to share my favorite
tips and
tricks to make your visit as magical as can be. Feel free to
message me directly for a quicker response next time.
You’ve got a friend in me!
