Hi Linda,
Welcome to planDisney!
I am delighted to see you planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! Well, this sounds familiar. My husband and I had a similar issue. To get it resolved, I had to
contact a Cast Member in Website Support. My husband had a My Disney Experience account that he had forgotten about and never used. But, when I renewed our Annual Passes, his was not showing linked to his profile that I manage in
My Disney Experience account. At the time, we had Annual Passes, theme park tickets, resort hotels, and
Disney Park Pass system reservations all linked and I did not want to lose any of those. Luckily, a Cast Member spent a good bit of time deactivating the old account and making sure everything linked properly to the managed account.
For now, you could try reassigning that unused ticket to the correct account. If either of you knows the login info for the other account to which the ticket is linked, log into that account using the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, open the app, click on the three bars on the bottom right-hand side of the home page, and then click on Tickets and Passes. From there, you should see that ticket and there should be an option to reassign ticket. He may have to reassign it to you in the mobile app since you manage his other account, and then you could log in and reassign it to the managed profile in your account.
Or, you could just contact a Cast Member for assistance! I was afraid of somehow erasing or losing my husband's reservations, so I trusted the Cast Member to make the changes. As you continue to plan, make sure that you've found some
advanced dining reservations. These have been absolutely lovely on our last two trips!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
