Hello! My husband, two kids (2 & 8) and I will be staying at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in October, I will be 7 months pregnant during the visit and was hoping you could recommend what room/area to request? Would like to be near food court/bus st

    Hi Jennifer!

Disney's Coronado Springs is a beautiful resort, my family especially likes the Dig site with the amazing pool complete with a Mayan Pyramid.  The resort is rather large and spread out, because it does host many conventions throughout the year.

Deciding upon a room location at Coronado Springs will depend on your specific needs while visiting. Unlike most Disney resorts, the main pool area is not adjacent or close to the main lobby itself.  If you plan on spending a lot of time at the pool you may want to consider a location closer the Dig site which contains the main pool, arcade, children's play area, and other activities. My recommendation for this area is building 8A in the Cabanas section.  This building is close to the Dig Site and close to one of the internal bus stops.

If you would prefer to be closer to the main lobby and bus stops, I would suggest booking in one of the preferred sections. Casitas buildings 1 and 3 is considered the preferred section of Coronado Springs, these buildings are a very short walk to the El Centro where you will find the Pepper Market. The only way to guarantee one of these buildings is by booking a preferred room, which I highly suggest for this resort because it is very large and spread out. Although they are close to the El Centro, they can be a bit of a walk to get to the Dig Site.

One area I would absolutely stay away from is the Ranchos buildings 6A, 6B, 7A and 7B.  This area is the furthest from everything.  Just remember when making room requests, they are just requests and not a guarantee.  In order to guarantee that you will be in a section closest to El Centro, I would suggest booking a preferred room to cut down on your walking.

I hope that this was helpful and please let me know if you should have anymore questions.

    Best Wishes!
