Hi Bridget! There are many different factors to consider when pricing a Disney vacation. Do you want to get a package where your resort lodging, park tickets, and a dining plan is included for one base price? Many guests love having that done before they come and only have to have money for souvenirs and extra recreation. I did a sample pricing for a family of three at a Value resort with a preferred room, 7 day park tickets, and a basic dining plan. You can see this quote by clicking
HERE. You can add park hopper options, delete a day of park tickets, or forget the dining plan to make changes according to your needs. There is often a Free Dining special being offered as well so make sure you check on that when you finalize your dates.
Some of the least crowded times to visit the parks is early January until Presidents Weekend, September, November until Thanksgiving weekend, and early December.
Most of the Disney resorts do have Value seasons and these will be around January to mid February but won't likely include weekends so the rates will go up for a couple of days during your stay. Also mid July until the end of September is a value time for most resorts. Each category of resort (Value, Moderate, Deluxe, Campgrounds, Villas) will have a slightly different value season and dates so you need to narrow down your choices and then check on each individual resort.
If you have any more questions just yell and we will be glad to help you with the planning process!
