Hi Deborah!
As a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member, I'm glad to welcome you to planDisney. The Disney Vacation Club website is such a great tool for Members –– you can easily u
se your Vacation Points to book and modify trips, Waitlist reservations, and see all your
Member Benefits right in one place. But all these features aren't much use if you can't access them, right? I'm sorry to hear that you and your husband are having trouble logging in to your DVC Member Account, but I'm happy to offer a few suggestions that might help.
It sounds like you're using the "Need help signing in?" feature on the
sign-in page, which is great –– this is where you'll want to start. First, I recommend entering your information and requesting to have another code sent to the email you have on file (since we all know emails get lost sometimes for no reason at all). If you have a phone number on file with your account, you might also want to request a code by text instead of an email. Once you access your inbox, be sure to check your spam or junk folders, too –– occasionally Disney Vacation Club emails get routed to these mailboxes.
If you still haven't received an email within 10 minutes, I suggest contacting
Member Services for further assistance. You can call to speak with a Cast Member at (800) 800-9800 or you can chat with a representative right from your computer. I love this new chat feature –– while phone wait times can be lengthy with all the excitement surrounding the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration, I've had a lot of success chatting with a Member Services Cast Member online with little to no wait. You can locate the chat feature by visiting the
Disney Vacation Club website beginning at 9:00 AM EST. Simply click the small box that says "Chat" on the right side of the screen and follow the on-screen prompts to connect with a Cast Member. But no matter whether you contact Member Services by phone or chat, just be sure to have your DVC Membership ID number on hand to verify your account.
Thanks for visiting planDisney, Deborah. If you think of any other planning questions as your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit approaches, please feel free to stop by again –– we're always here to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Amy
