Me and my husband want to try to come next year in October just us 2 no kids. We usually stay at moderates resorts because they have queen size beds but want to just stay at value resort to save money do they have king rooms how to confirm one?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Denise! Grown-ups only trips are some of my favorite vacations to Walt Disney World Resort, and seeing that you are due for an October visit means you will be able to scour Epcot during it’s International Food & Wine Festival. Start making your must-try foods list!

There are a couple of Value Resorts with King size beds, as my husband and I stayed in one when we ran the Princess Half Marathon together. It was a fun, cool weather trip. Both Disney’s Pop Century Resort and the ever-popular Art of Animation Resort offer King Size beds. Some of those rooms are handicapped accessible, and some are not. I would call (407) 939-1936 to speak with a Cast Member if I preferred a King Size bed for my vacation. If you use the online booking system, the requests section can be a little harder to navigate. Both resort are large and offer plenty of amenities, but if you have not seen The Little Mermaid standard rooms at Disney’s Art of Animation, they are quite something. The courtyards and dedicated Mermaid Pool are lots of fun, and remind me so much of my childhood. There’s magic everywhere! Plus, I prefer the expansive food court and shopping area at “A of A,” as I often call it.

If I can help you with any more of your upcoming vacation questions, please let me know. I’m more eager than Flounder to follow your vacation plans! ~ Lindsey P.
