My husband and I would like to try the Flying Fish Cafe on our next visit in June 2011. Our sons, 10 and 8, will be accompanying us. Is it possible to pay for the boys' meals out of pocket and just use 4 adult dining plan TS credits for our meals?

    Tristan:

Disney is very accommodating when it comes to splitting up a check between dining patrons.  In your case, all you need to do is tell your server that you and your husband will be on the dining plan and that you'll be paying for your boys out-of-pocket. In fact, most of the time, I find that our server asks us if we are on the dining plan before our order is placed.

When the check arrives, you'll receive two checks: one for the dining plan and its gratuity and the other with your boys' meals.

Wishing y'all a magical vacation and a memorable meal!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
