Welcome back to planDisney, Sandy! What a joy it is to be able to celebrate your husband and his siblings' birthday onboard Disney Cruise Line!
I have great news for you. The
stateroom decorations, including birthday décor, will already be set up for you when you walk into your room on embarkation day. That is one less thing for you to do, so you can get back to the magic on your vacation. There is also a selection of cakes and cupcakes that you can order in advance to have delivered to your
rotational dining restaurant or directly to your stateroom on the day of your choosing.
When my family and I are celebrating during our cruise, we like to have a toast with the non-alcoholic blue apple cider called Cloudem, which can also be purchased under Onboard Gifts. Actually, we order it even if we are not celebrating a special occasion to have a toast while we sail away, plus we order a few extra bottles to bring home. My son loves it! I also tend to bring a bottle of champagne on board for the adults. On Disney Cruise Line, the
Alcohol Policy states that each Guest 21 years of age and older can bring a maximum of 2 sealed bottles of wine or champagne (no more than 750 ml each) or 6 beers (no more than 12 ounces each) onboard. The bottles must be packed in your carry-on bag and not your checked luggage.
Sandy, I hope this helps as you plan for the best birthday celebration on the high seas. Please note that Onboard Gifts must be ordered in advance of your sailing: up to 7 days for cake and cupcake orders and up to 3 days for all other orders. If you have any other questions, sail back to
planDisney for answers.
