Blue Bayou Restaurant is one of our favorite places to dine during our trip. You truly cannot beat the ambiance of the restaurant, especially with the Pirates of the Caribbean boats floating by! I spoke with a helpful Cast Member, and she said that your parents could check-in at Blue Bayou using the confirmation number and reservation name. That is so generous of you to allow them to experience it!
I'm sure you'd love to have the entire family join them for dinner, so I do encourage you to keep checking for a
dining reservation all the way up to your trip! Plans change for Guests often, and I have had luck with securing a last minute dining reservation. Another option is to check the availability of the
mobile walk-up list the day of the dining reservation. You can check for availability at Blue Bayou via the
Disneyland app, and if there is availability, you'll be able to add your party to the walk-up list, and will be notified when your table is ready. It's definitely worth exploring the day of your trip!
