    My husband and I are travelling in Sept. to celebrate our daughter's 3rd birthday. We've been looking at the resort and hotel accomodations and we'll be visiting Magic K. and Animal K. Are there any accomodations inside the parks. Which are the closest?

    It sounds like you're planning a memorable birthday for your daughter!

    Although there are no hotels in any of the theme parks, the Contemporary Resort is within walking distance of the Magic Kingdom and the Grand Floridian is a 5-minute monorail ride from its gates. If you're looking for a hotel that is nearby to make heading back to the hotel for naps manageable, I'd recommend one of these two for your stay. The Grand Floridian is closest via the monorail if you are GOING to the Magic Kingdom but the Contemporary is the closest via monorail is you are LEAVING the Magic Kingdom for naps and to return to your hotel. Moreover, because the monorail stops in the lobby of the Contemporary and only steps away from the elevator, it would be my first choice for being most convenient.
