Hi there!! My husband and I will be travelling to Disney for our anniversary. We are debating between the Spirit oh Aloha Show and Cirque du Soleil...any suggestions? We have done the Hoop-de-doo review in the past and really enjoyed it.

    Hi Charlene!

Congratulations on planning a special anniversary trip to Walt Disney World!  What a fun way to share your special day.

I am a huge fan of the dinner shows at Walt DIsney World, and I also enjoy Cirque de Soleil.  Honestly, you can't go wrong with either choice.  If you choose Disney's Spirit of Aloha Show, you will truly be transported to Polynesia with excellent food and a wonderful interactive show.  Also, the location is great (and romantic!) for exploring neighboring resorts on the monorail line.  You might decide to walk the grounds of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, or catch the nightly Electrical Water Pageant along the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon.  Check with Cast Members at each resort for times.  Cirque de Soleil's La Nouba is an imaginative, acrobatic show like no other.  You can sit back, relax and be amazed at what you see all around you.  If you're up to it, there is plenty of hustle and bustle at the Downtown Disney area before or after the show.  There is plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment to keep you going as you celebrate.

Speaking of celebrating,  remember to pick up a celebration button (they're free!) at your Walt Disney World Resort or Guest Services locations!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I wish you a truly magical vacation.
