My husband and I will be traveling to WDW in September, without the kids. Which hotel do you recomend for romance we are between the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Contemporary, and Boardwalk. Price is a consideration but only partial. Thanks for your help.

How lucky to be able to get away for a romantic vacation and what better place then Walt Disney World!

You offered some tough choices to think about as they are all very different.  Animal Kingdom Lodge is unique and if you choose this resort make sure you reserve a room overlooking the savannas.  At night it is very peaceful and if you stand on your balcony you can hear the animals eating but they are not always visible.  You definitely get the feeling of being on a safari.  Overall the Lodge is a quiet resort with one of the best dining restaurants on property, Jikos.

My other choice from the three would be Boardwalk.  I love this area because you are within walking distance to EPCOT and there are numerous opportunities for excellent dining and entertainment right at your fingertip.  Boardwalk resort is  quaint and beautiful with quiet areas but also bustling clubs close at hand. (Jellyrolls is a favorite of ours.)  You might choose to reserve an Illuminations cruise one evening from here or during the day rent a pontoon boat for a cruise on the waters to Hollywood Studios.  You are also a short bus ride from Downtown Disney if you want to catch a movie or catch some entertainment and dinner in that area.

Compare the resort amenities at and this will help you make the final decision.  Remember this is the year of celebration at Disney and check out the fun additions you can add from the Disney florist.
