My husband and I are traveling to WDW with our 18 month-old later this month. We bought the basic dining plan for the two of us. Do we pay extra to order food for our daughter or is she expected to eat off our plates? Thanks so much!

    Hi Christie,

Congratulations on your upcoming trip!  I think you'll find that the portions at Disney restaurants are HUGE, and there is plenty to share.  Your daughter is welcome to share with you and your husband.  If you wanted to get her a separate meal from the child's menu, you can either pay separately, or purchase the Disney Dining Plan (for a child) for her.  The cost for a child is $10.99 per day on the basic plan (that includes one snack, one counter service and one table service meal per day).  When I traveled with my hungry two and a half year old, we felt this price was a bargain, and went ahead and purchased it for him.

    Have a wonderful trip!
