    My husband and I will be traveling to WDW in December with our almost 4 yr old son... We will have the dining plan and I will be making reservations soon. What restaurants (other than character dining) would you recommend for us?

    December is such an exciting time to visit Disney World!  There are so many incredible places to eat. Here are some of my boys' non-character favorite places to eat:

    • California Grill at the Contemporary with reservations timed to see the fireworks at Magic Kingdom
    • 'Ohana at the Polynesian Resort
    • Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge
    • Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at the Beach Club
    • Coral Reef Restaurant at Epcot
    • Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom
    • Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney or Animal Kingdom
    • T-Rex Cafe at Downtown Disney
    • Rose & Crown Pub at Epcot with reservations times to see IllumiNations
    • Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater at Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • Via Napoli at Epcot
    • 50's Prime Time Cafe at Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • Tony's Town Square Restaurant at the Magic Kingdom
    These places offer a fun atmosphere and great food. Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
