My husband and I will be traveling with friends and got a 1 day 1 park non park hopping option ticket. We are going to Magic Kingdom for rope drop but then have a reservation at 11:30am for Brunch at the Grand Floridian. Are we able to re-enter MG after?

Welcome to planDisney, Allison! Thanks for bringing us your question today; I'm excited to chat with you about rope drop, Magic Kingdom Park, and brunch at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa - these are some of my favorite things!

Allison, with your theme park ticket, you are absolutely welcome to leave Magic Kingdom Park and reenter later in the day! Your plan to brunch at Disney's Grand Floridian is a perfect one (I highly recommend trying the Chicken and Waffles if you're headed to Grand Floridian Cafe!) It's a quick and easy ride on the Disney Monorail to get to your dining reservation, and you'll want to reserve a little extra time to check out the holiday decorations while you're there - the annual life-sized gingerbread house will be celebrating its 25th anniversary, filling the lobby with the sights (and smells) of the holidays! You can even find a pop-up market selling seasonal snacks to bring a little extra joy to your world!

After your brunch, you can hop aboard the Disney Monorail to return to Magic Kingdom Park and resume your theme park activities! You should be back in enough time to catch the afternoon Festival of Fantasy Parade; I recommend catching it near the start in Frontierland and then taking advantage of lower wait times while a lot of the crowd will be waiting for its arrival on Main Street, U.S.A. And be sure to end your magical day watching Happily Ever After light up the skies above Cinderella Castle; it's the most iconic ending to a Disney day!

Allison, I hope this is helpful! Before I let you go, here's a little lagniappe for you: consider heading straight to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train for rope drop, especially if you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel and can take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry. Typically, the gates will open to all guests about an hour before early entry and eligible guests will be able to head towards their intended attraction at Fantasyland or Tomorrowland once inside the park. If you're not staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you are still able to enter Magic Kingdom at that time but will kept on Main Street, U.S.A. until the official park opening time. Another great option for rope drop in this case is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!

If you have any other planning questions, come on back and let us know! At planDisney, we're happy to help find the magic!

    See you real soon,
    Alison
