My husband and I will be traveling to Disney with our 5 and 4 yr old daughters in September. What resorts do you recommend? My girls are excited for both Disney park and pool time!

    Hello Jessica,

Your family sounds just like mine...we love Disney, but we also love our time at the resort and at the pool!

I immediately thought of BoardWalk Inn because what kid wouldn't enjoy sliding into a pool right through a clown's mouth! And I like the resort not just because of its pool. Think quintessential Jersey Shore. At night, the boardwalk comes alive with street entertainers and midway games. Your girls will have fun just strolling along the lakeside. The resort is also within walking distance of Epcot and other resorts so you will have plenty of dining options from which to choose.

Another hotel with a fantastic swimming pool is the Beach Club Resort. Stormalong Bay has a lazy river and a sand-bottomed pool. The girls would love exploring the "shipwreck" at the resort too. The Beach Club is also one of the Epcot resorts so it's just a quick walk over to the BoardWalk, so again you can't beat the location.

Hope this helps. Enjoy your trip and happy swimming!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
