My husband and I will be traveling to Disney World Sept 21st 2011 for 4 days. We are going to stay at Pop Century. I was wondering if I can request a king size bed for a standard room reservation or do I have to choose a preferred room for that?

    Hi Anne!

Great news, King size beds are found in both Preferred and standard rooms at Pop Century!  Unlike at many other resorts, Disney cannot guarantee that you will receive a King bed.  Just be sure to let the Cast Member know your bedding choice and they will do their best to accommodate you!

If you are looking for a quiet room with a great view, request a lake view in the 70's building.  Not only is the view wonderful, but these are actually standard priced rooms!  They are also close to the food court, transportation and main pool area.  Have an amazing vacation this September!
