Hi, there!
Karissa, I'm so pleased to hear you're planning a visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort with little ones in tow. As a mom of three, I have lots of family-friendly tips and suggestions for you!
At
Magic Kingdom Park, head straight for Fantasyland. There you'll find several attractions that are perfect for toddlers and infants like Peter Pan's Flight, "it's a small world," Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, and Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid. I especially love The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Dumbo the Flying Elephant because these attractions feature interactive queues that keep my kids busy while we wait to ride! Be sure to stop by
Town Square Theater on Main Street, U.S.A. This is my favorite location to meet Mickey Mouse!
Your 2-year old is going to love
SeaBase at
Epcot. This 5.7-million-gallon aquarium is home to over 4,000 sea creatures! Plus, it also features two attractions perfect for little ones; The Seas with Nemo & Friends and Turtle Talk With Crush. In World Showcase, my toddler enjoys the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros in Mexico and Frozen Ever After in Norway. I bet your little ones will enjoy these boat ride attractions too!
If you have a Mickey Mouse fan, a visit to
Disney's Hollywood Studios to experience the
Disney Junior Dance Party! is a must. The whole family can move and groove at this fun-filled party with beloved Disney Junior Characters.
Your family is sure to have a wild adventure at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park! My oldest son loves animals, so his most favorite attraction at the Walt Disney World Resort is
Kilimanjaro Safaris. With unique
animal encounters and fantastic
entertainment options, you won't want to miss this park.
I recommend booking at least one
Character Dining Experience for your stay. I love these meals because I know my little ones will enjoy kid-friendly fare AND the company of their favorite Disney Characters, all in one place! Since your children are under the age of 3, they can eat for free at the all-you-care-to-enjoy locations like
Chef Mickey's. How great is that?
Karissa, please let me know if you have any other questions about traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort with your family. I'd love to help you plan a magical visit!
