My husband and I are traveling to Disney next week with our two year old. He is not old enough to be on the dining plan but eats all table food. How does this work? Can we order from childrens' menus and pay out of pocket? Or do we share our meals?

Hi Laura!  I understand your confusion.  The good news is that your two-year-old will eat for free at all meals served buffet or family-style.  For meals in a la carte restaurants, your child is welcome to eat from your plate.  Alternatively, you are free to order a meal for him or her from the menu and pay out of pocket for that meal.  Enjoy your trip next week!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
