My husband and I are traveling to Disney in June for Star Wars Weekends with our daughter who will be turning 5 months when we get there. I was wondering, is it better to wear her and not bring our stroller or to do both. Also any other mom advise?

    Hi Bryant!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are going to have such a wonderful time bringing your little Princess Leia to Star Wars Weekends! We brought our youngest son on his fist trip to Walt Disney World Resort last May when he was 8 months old. I brought both our jogging stroller and my Moby Wrap with us as I was really unsure what I would prefer during our trip. I found that I actually used both options with my son at different times. Because of the Florida heat, I found I had to be really careful about make sure he did not overheat while I was wearing him. So I choose for him to spend a good amount of time in his stroller during the day to keep both of us cool. I did find that wearing him was really convenient in the airport, when it got cool in the evening, during fussy times when he needed to be close to mommy or even for a nap while the rest of the family was eating lunch. And the stroller always worked out great for carrying both baby things and souvenEARs that we picked up during our day!

My biggest tip for bringing a baby to Walt Disney World Resort is to take advantage of the Baby Care Centers. Located in all four theme parks, they are great places to not only feed and change your little girl, but also to cool off and enjoy some quiet time with her. Take a look at this great video about them by my fellow panelist Jennifer: Baby Care Centers Aren't Just For Babies.

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
