Oh, Linda! You're going to have such a fantastic time on your trip. I am excited that I get to answer your questions here at planDisney!
Let me start by saying November is an absolutely perfect time for a visit. My wife's cousin got married in the Germany Pavilion in EPCOT in November of 2018, and the weather was positively gorgeous. Also, it was that time between seasons when fall decorations are phasing out and
holiday decorations are just starting to make their way out to the theme parks and resort hotels, so Walt Disney World is certainly a sight to behold at that time of year.
For park hours, it will be best to check the
5 Day Calendar as your trip gets closer for the most accurate information. Generally speaking, the theme parks will open between 8AM and 9AM and have hours until 9PM or later. One exception is Animal Kingdom, which typically closes the earliest of the four theme parks around 6PM or 7PM. One other thing I want to clue you in to is that
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be starting around the time of your visit, so Magic Kingdom will close earlier on dates where a party is scheduled. There's also
Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney's Hollywood Studios at this time of year, but park hours usually aren't as drastically affected by that party as they are over at Magic Kingdom. The
Disney Parks Blog will have all the updates you need, and holiday information (including party dates and schedules) usually drops around mid-October.
Speaking of Magic Kingdom, there are a few routes to get from
Disney's Pop Century Resort to the front gates of this theme park. First, you can hop on the tried-and-true
Disney Bus from the front of your resort. I was just in Disney World back in February and rope-dropped Magic Kingdom from Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and had no trouble getting there in time for
Early Entry using the bus. This service will begin running 45 minutes prior to park opening, and the first bus usually comes slightly earlier than that in my experience. Aside from this complimentary option, you could spring for a
Minnie Van and ride in style toward Cinderella Castle. Operating times vary, so check the Lyft app to see when you can book a ride.
Linda, I just know you're gonna have an absolute blast on your vacation! So much has changed since 2017, so enjoy all the new attractions, entertainment, and fun that awaits you in Disney World. I'd be honored to help you plan out other aspects of your visit, so if you think of any other questions or have additional curiosities, just
let me know! Have the best time!
Stay magical,
Scott
