Hi Jennifer,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your question is making me drool because it’s about one of my all-time favourite events at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival:
Party for the Senses! My husband and I had the chance to attend one of this year’s earlier Parties and I can tell you that you’re in for quite a treat.
One thing that I can tell you from our experience is that Guests seem to run the gamut from very casual to cocktail dresses at the Party for the Senses so, no matter what, you won’t feel out of place. If it helps, I wore a pretty sundress and my husband wore shorts and a nice golf shirt and we didn’t feel out of place at all. From what I understand the Yelloween Masquerade has a slightly different twist, one where Guests are encouraged to dress in their most “Stylish” yellow and black. From the description, I think that they’re picturing more of an upscale masked ball, so I wouldn’t go in a full-blown costume. I’d go with something dressier, in yellow and black if you have it, with a fun mask or hat if you have one. Another idea would be to have some fun with your makeup for the evening. I would steer clear of bulky accessories because you won't have a secure place to stash them and it might be tough to navigate through the party while you're wearing/holding them.
No matter what: make sure to take lots of pictures and to EAT ALL THE FOOD!!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
