Hi, My husband and I have three kids. My mom in law may also come along. I selected packages on this web site for a deluxe hotel. It selected two rooms for the Contemporary hotel. The price was around $12,000.00. Should I book through travel agent?

    Hi Betsy!

I can usually find what I need at a great price via the Walt Disney World Resort website.  However, that said, I'm a big fan of using an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner and that is what I do on almost every trip to Walt Disney World.

An Authorized Disney Vacation Planner is a travel agent specializing in Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Adventures by Disney, and Disney Cruise Line.  They are up to date on all of the discounts available and the good ones will apply future discounts on your behalf should they become available, and if they are applicable for your reservation!  I've received many e-mails or phone calls over the years from my agent saying "you just saved money" when I didn't even know a new discount was out there!

By the way, you might look at staying in a 2 bedroom unit in a Disney Deluxe Villa or getting two connecting rooms in a Disney Moderate Resort.  Disney Deluxe Resorts are fabulous, but if you're not going to spend a lot of time there because you will be spending all of your time in the parks, then it might make sense to stay at a Moderate or Value Resort instead.

    Good luck!
