My husband and I have three daughters ages 4,3, and 2 and will be going to disneyworld for christmas. Will we be able to get on rides? Do they allow one parent and two children to a ride or will we have to get in line three times?

    Hi, Monica!

I’m so happy you’re planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with your little ones! I’m a big fan of introducing kids to the magic of Disney early on.

There are lots of attractions even your youngest will be able to ride with you. If there’s no minimum height requirement posted at an attraction, he or she can definitely ride it. You can also check out the interactive attractions list online to see exactly what all three kids are tall enough to ride. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by just how much the whole family will be able to experience together!

Guests with children who don’t meet the minimum height requirement may take turns experiencing attractions using the Rider Switch program. It allows an adult (and older children) to ride while another adult waits with younger children. You then "switch" so the second adult can enjoy the attraction without waiting all over again. The specific procedure can vary depending on the attraction, though, so it’s best to ask a Cast Member at the entrance what steps you should follow.

I hope this helps, Monica, and that you have a wonderfully pixie-dusted vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
