My husband three boys and I are headed to Disney 12/18-12/26 and wonder what night and time we should book the dinner package to the Candlelight processional. Would Christmas Eve be best spent there or somewhere else in any of the parks. Boys are 12,10&

    Hi Carrie,

My family reserved a Candlelight Dinner Package on Christmas Eve last year and thought that it was the perfect day to watch the unforgettable spectacle that is the Candlelight Processional.

This special holiday event retells the story of Christmas with a special celebrity narrator accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and a mass choir. It really does capture the spirit of the season like nothing else and the story of Christmas seemed even more poignant on Christmas Eve.

We decided to make a dining reservation for lunch as we wanted to attend the earliest show which starts at 5pm so that my son would be awake enough to enjoy it.

Meal times are the deciding factor in which showing of the Candlelight Processional you will be allocated seats for when participating in the Candlelight Dinner Package.

Last year, the times were as follows:-

5:00pm show: Lunch between 1:45-2:45 pm
6:45pm show: Dinner between 3:30-4:30 pm
8:15pm show: Dinner between 5:00-6:00 pm

No matter which day you decide to watch the Candlelight Processional you will be blown away by it. It is a terrific way to share the magic of Christmas with family and friends.

    Wishing you a magical trip!
