Hi! My husband and I are thinking about taking the Wild Africa Trek in the AK when we visit WDW in September 2011. Do you know if DSLR cameras are permitted? The trek sounds like it would have fantasic photo ops! Thanks.

    Hi Janice!

You are going to have an awesome experience on the Wild Africa Trek in the Animal Kingdom! My son and I experienced the Wild Africa Trek on April 6th, 2011 and we had an incredible adventure!  Yes, DSLR Cameras are permitted as long as they have a strap that can be clipped on to the safety harness vest that you will be wearing during the trek.  I brought my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera with me on my Wild Africa Trek and I snapped some amazing photos of hippos, crocodiles, and animals on the Savanna!  I definitely would recommend bringing your DSLR camera with you!

I hope that your Wild Africa Trek is full of animals, adventure, and amazing photos!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
