hi, my husband and i are thinking about taking our twin boys that are 5 and our three year old daughter to Disney. my question is, where is the best place to stay, where the kids can be kids and have fun? thanks, Christina

Selecting a resort at Walt Disney World can be an overwhelming experience but since they are all Disney resorts, they are both family-friendly & fun.

The value resorts allow guests to still be immersed in all the Disney magic while keeping costs down.  My sons' favorite when they were little was the All-Star Movies resort with all the iconic Disney movie figures. Similarly, the Art of Animation opened this last year and is fantastic with its theming. There are value resorts that feature sports, music, & pop culture, too.

If you'd prefer a few more amenities & space, Port Orleans Riverside is a moderate resort for families of 5 and was our favorite choice for many years.

If you'd prefer a deluxe resort, you have many wonderful choices. The Animal Kingdom Lodge has some rooms that overlook the savannah; imagine seeing zebras and giraffes from your balcony! The Contemporary Resort has some incredible views of the Magic Kingdom and has the monorail running through the middle of the resort & is walking distance to the Magic Kingdom. The Yacht/Beach Club are within walking distance of Epcot and have one of the most amazing pool areas (the pool and lazy river have sand bottoms).

Please look over some of the suggestions and then we can answer more specific questions about them once you narrow down your choices to what best fits your family's needs.
