My husband and I were thinking of taking a mini trip the week after Christmas in 2016... will the decorations still be up or any holiday festivities still going on, or do they all end the day after Christmas? We would just be there the 28. 29, 30th.

    Hi Mandy,

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. Sounds like the perfect plan to me. WDW tends to get very crowded at this time of the year, however seeing the parks with all the Christmas decorations it is so worth it. It is my favorite time to visit. The decorations will stay until the beginning of January. I have once arrived at ORL at January 3 and the decorations were beautiful and complete. After January 6, you can expect not see any decorations at all. At the week that you are planning on going, you will be able to see decorations at the parks for sure. Remember to visit some resorts for some awesome decorations like Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

    Have a magical day!
